Digital Alignment Solutions Ltd (“Digi-Align”, “we”, “us”) is a software studio based in Jamaica, and part of Confluence Holdings. We are responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Contact us at solutions@digi-align.com.
What we collect
When you contact us or request a preview: your name, business or company name, email address, phone number (if you give it), links to your social pages, Google listing or website, the type of work you need, your timeline, and anything you write in your message. We use your email address to send your preview and follow up about it.
When you subscribe: your email address.
Automatically: our hosting provider and font provider (Google Fonts) receive standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type when you load a page. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals, and manage a working relationship if we engage. We use subscriber emails only to send our published perspectives. We do not sell your personal data.
We process your data on the basis of your consent, to take steps at your request before entering a contract, and for our legitimate interest in running our business.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate this site: our website hosting provider, which runs the forms that send your messages to our inbox, and Google Fonts. These providers may process data outside Jamaica. Where they do, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards. If you engage us and need brand, content, or production services, we may share relevant project details with other Confluence Holdings companies, with your agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we enter an engagement, in which case we keep records for as long as required for contractual, tax, and legal purposes. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time.
Your rights
Under the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020, you can ask to access the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email solutions@digi-align.com and we will respond within the period the law requires. You may also complain to the Office of the Information Commissioner.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) across this site.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
